Accounting Temp (Sage Experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Temp with proficiency in Sage to assist our finance team during a busy period. The ideal candidate will play a key role in performing data entry, data validation, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. This is a temporary position that requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This is a fully remote 6-8 week temp.

• Perform accurate and timely data entry into Sage accounting software.
• Validate and review financial data for consistency and accuracy.
• Assist in account reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary reports and financial documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of journal entries and other accounting tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Assist with any ad-hoc financial projects or tasks as directed by the Accounting Manager.
