Business Analyst (Top Secret Cleared)

Job Summary: 


The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze requirements, and propose solutions that align with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a software development environment, possessing the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring successful implementation of software projects. This is a 6 month contract to hire and requires a Top Secret clearance or higher.


Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to collect necessary information.
  • Create detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Documentation and Specification:
  • Develop and maintain requirement documents, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between all parties.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Solution Design and Evaluation:
  • Work with the development team to design solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
  • Recommend improvements and alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Project Management Support:
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of software development projects.
  • Track project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Testing and Validation:
  • Collaborate with the QA team to develop test plans and test cases.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of deliverables.
  • Ensure that the final product meets business requirements and quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in business analysis and software development.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders as needed.


$70,000 - $95,000 a year
