Data Center Project Controls Engineer/ PM (Various Positions/Locations Available)

Position Overview:


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Center Project Controls Engineer/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing data center projects and utilizing Primavera P6 for project planning and controls. This role is critical for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of data center projects within scope, on time, and within budget. Hiring for multiple experience levels, this position has hybrid flexibility depending on location.

-Charleston, SC

-Reno, NV

-Kansas City

-Cheyenne, WY

-Hermiston, OR

-Princeton, NJ 


Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Scheduling:
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Monitor and update project schedules to reflect progress and changes.
  • Cost Management:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze and report on project cost performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Develop cash flow projections and cost forecasts.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor risk management plans and ensure effective implementation.
  • Conduct regular risk reviews and update risk registers.
  • Project Controls:
  • Implement and maintain project controls processes, tools, and procedures.
  • Generate and analyze project control reports, including earned value analysis (EVA).
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of project controls data and documentation.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project controls-related communications.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication across project teams.
  • Quality and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with project standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and ensure adherence to project specifications and requirements.
  • Manage change control processes and document changes as required.


$90,000 - $180,000 a year
