Drupal Front-End Software Engineer (Hybrid Remote)

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Drupal Front-End Software Engineer with a passion for crafting engaging, high-performance, and user-friendly web interfaces. With 5+ years of web design and development experience, the ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of front-end technologies and expertise in Drupal theming. You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to implement visually compelling and functional web solutions using Drupal’s front-end tools and best practices. This position is remote 2-3 days per week. Responsibilities:• Develop responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance Drupal themes using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Twig• Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into interactive and engaging web interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance (WCAG)• Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with Drupal content management and custom modules• Customize and extend Drupal front-end functionality through templates, preprocess functions, and theme hooks• Optimize front-end performance by implementing best practices in coding, asset loading, caching, and responsive design• Conduct usability testing, and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve the front-end experience• Maintain and enhance the website’s mobile-first approach, ensuring consistency across devices and platforms• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development and Drupal theming• Ensure compliance with security standards and implement front-end security measures as needed
