Day to Day... • Process journal entries and perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts • Maintain fixed asset records and related depreciation schedules • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported • Handle monthly reconciliations of bank accounts • Manage processing of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections • Assist with the annual audit process • Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures • Assist with tax return preparation • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing • Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of the company's financial information • Stay updated with industry trends, accounting best practices, and regulatory changes Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • At least 1 year of professional accounting experience with general ledgers and reconciliations • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting procedures • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
