Senior Embedded Software Engineer (C++)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications and systems. 


Duties
  • Embedded development and debug, including units and integration tests.
  • Enhancing and Re-vamping C/C++ that is digital signal processing that displays Spectrum Data.
  • Perform device investigations and write reports.
  • Develop Electronics for the product and for supporting tools for high reliability.
  • Write protocols, tests methods and create presentations related to design activities and perform necessary studies using various lab equipment.
  • Ability to develop Systems and/or Software Requirements.
  • Experience in System Design and/or Software Development.
  • Experience in System Integration: System/Software and/or Hardware/Software.
  • Experience in System and/or Software verification.
  • Proficient in modern programming languages (ex. C/C++, Python/Perl, C#/Java).
  • Experience with all phases of a formal product development life cycle.
  • Experience with local and remote debugging concepts and tools.
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen due to having the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance, plus if have one.
  • Ability to develop software in Assembly, C, C++, and/or other programming languages.
  • Experience in GUI development using relevant frameworks and toolkits.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centered development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in software engineering development, testing and certification process tools.
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications.
  • Demonstrates project leadership skills.
  • Looks for and incorporates process improvement opportunities in the development process.
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational and analytical skills a must.
  • Meets project schedules and budgets.


$150,000 - $190,000 a year
