Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with a Secret Clearance and a strong background in Department of Defense (DOD) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions tailored to meet DOD-specific requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to customize workflows, enhance automation, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow solutions, including workflows, integrations, and data management tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring solutions align with DOD operational needs.
Customize ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HR, CSM, etc.) to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Implement security and data access controls in compliance with DOD policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow APIs and integrations with third-party tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow configurations and workflows.
Provide training and documentation to end-users and other technical teams.
Stay current on the latest ServiceNow platform updates and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Previous experience working in a DOD environment, with a strong understanding of security protocols and regulatory compliance.
Expertise in ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, and administration.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, business rules, and workflows.
Experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, HR Service Delivery, or CSM is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
Familiarity with federal IT systems and frameworks such as RMF and NIST.
