Structural Project Engineer

Position Summary:


The Structural Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and execution of structural engineering projects. This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.


Responsibilities:
  • Project Design & Analysis:
  • Develop structural designs for various projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments.
  • Perform calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ACI, AISC, IBC).
  • Project Management:
  • Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Technical Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or STAAD.Pro.
  • Review and approve project submittals, shop drawings, and construction documentation.
  • Site Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide technical support during construction phases, including site visits to assess progress and resolve engineering challenges.
  • Conduct inspections to verify structural integrity and compliance with design specifications.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure innovative and efficient design solutions.
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to the development of best practices within the engineering team.
