Job Description

The cleaning, care and storage of all hotel linens, glassware and supplies

Primary Responsibilities

• Sorting of all laundry according to company standards
• Proper care and pretreating of soiled and stained linens
• Washing all linens and towels following the guidelines of machines, assuring the correct usage of machines and using chemicals safely
• Drying of all linens and towels according the standards set for the dryer
• Folding all linens with the appropriate fold for each piece
• Trained to use each machine according to the standards set by the machines.
• Trained on safety procedures and use of all chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Knowledge of treating and safely handling biological stains
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend with ability to lift, push, and pull. Also should be able to stand in one place for long periods of time.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills a must.
