Lead Copywriter

The Lead Copywriter will work with the Creative Lead and the User Acquisition team to create briefs for social media ads, that will be executed by our team of freelance designers. The ideal candidate will be able to concept new and current ideas for our ad campaigns every week, across many mediums and for multiple audiences on all sorts of topics within the health and wellbeing space. If you're the kind of person who can sell a paperclip in 10 different ways... this is the job for you!

Responsibilities

• You will write new online advertising concepts, which will fuel our user acquisition efforts on channels such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, and more! The goal of the creatives will be to generate downloads and subscriptions of the Fabulous app.
• You will work collaboratively with our exceptional in-house design and user acquisition teams, under the guidance of our Creative Lead, and follow through on the execution of your ideas with the goal to produce tens of new creatives every week.
• You will simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines.
• You will continually push the envelope by proposing creative concepts that challenge conventions.
• You will be able to concept multiple ways of selling the same product to all kinds of audiences using creative intuition!
• You will help us to improve our creative processes efficiency.
• You must be available for weekly calls to take notes from the Creative Lead and write based on their strategies for the week.
• You will have a strong understanding of our competitors' activity and social media trends.

Requirements

• You can write concepts for various social media platforms and understand the difference in the tone of voice, as well as visual specifications.
• You are a creative and independent freelancer who is not afraid to make suggestions based on your expertise.
• You are an ideas person, someone who offers new ways of doing things as well as completing the task at hand.
• You are passionate about all the topics of health and well-being.
• You pay close attention to world events and have intuition on audience interest week to week.
• You can share a portfolio of work from your past projects that are relevant to this role
