The Database Tools and Replicator Team is working to make backups, migrations, and disaster recovery of MongoDB clusters easy and reliable.
Our main focus is mongosync, a new tool to synchronize two MongoDB clusters. This tool is a top priority for the company, and is used to migrate customers from on-prem MongoDB to MongoDB's cloud service, MongoDB Atlas. If you're excited to design and create a high-performance distributed service for syncing databases, this is the team for you!
This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in North America.
