Being a Lead Frontend Engineer at iManage Means…

You will play a pivotal role in creating an environment where our team can thrive and deliver their best work. As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will have critical involvement in designing, developing, and maintaining our Closing Folders product using a diverse range of technologies, including Ember.js, HTML, CSS, Django, Python, AWS, and more. With a strong focus on code quality and craftsmanship, you will leverage these technologies to build robust and scalable solutions.

iM Responsible For…

  • Leading and empowering the frontend team, offering expert guidance, and supporting team members in their professional growth and project success
  • Offering insightful and decisive leadership around frontend architecture choices
  • Planning and running educational initiatives to help our team grow their skills
  • Working with our product team to prioritize and plan new feature work
  • Overseeing and directly contributing to feature development where needed
  • Encouraging and enforcing software engineering best practices like code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, design documentation, etc.
  • Ensuring secure coding standards to protect the clients against various vulnerabilities
  • Conducting 1:1 meeting with team members and working through our review processes

iM Qualified Because I Have…

  • A degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable software
  • Considerable experience and a successful track record of leading teams or projects with little guidance
  • A desire to write well tested code and implement best testing practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Experience with SOLID principles
  • Substantial understanding of component-based architecture
  • Extensive experience with frontend frameworks like Ember.js React, Vue, Angular, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
  • Willingness and passion to learn new concepts and technologies
