Responsible for providing leadership and training to an assigned work group including coordinating production workflow, monitoring quality, and providing feedback to achieve continuous improvement within the work group. Responsible for identifying trends and errors, reviewing exceptions, testing new account and system changes, and communicating issues with management and other departments. Back up supervisor when out of the office.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provides coaching, training, and refresher training for group regarding new accounts, new procedures, changing procedures, ergonomics, and quality issues.
- Evenly distributes daily work to operators, working with other operations groups to maintain daily work flow within the department. Keeps overtime to a minimum by monitoring workflow and department specific email accounts throughout the day and adjusting work as needed.
- Quickly and accurately resolves account issues and questions, being sure to communicate findings to supervisor and other departments.
- Establishes group controls, procedures with supervisor input, and monitors and documents employee quality and performance to those standards.
- Establishes behavior and work standards that foster teamwork and cooperation within the unit.
- Communicates quality and performance issues to management.
- Participates in performance evaluation ratings and performance evaluation meetings for employees in the work group.
- Offers input to improve procedures and quality and increase processing efficiencies. Encourages this input from operators within work group and with other departments.
- Participates in interviewing prospective employees when requested by management.
- Tests new accounts and system changes, noting any issues and communicating with management and other departments.
- Reviews exception items requiring immediate handling and communicates and trains appropriate parties.
- Generates work logs and other required reporting.
- Works overtime as required by management.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of production, operations, or similar experience.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities generally acquired through 1 year experience handling progressively complex tasks.
