Pros
From where I sit the most important piece to the whole puzzle of working at Cass Information is the work environment made possible at the Senior and Executive VP level. I don't have to work at Cass. Not a day goes by where 3-5 head hunters try to lure me away. I might entertain those if it were not for support I receive allowing me to do the work I am able to accomplish and get the results I've been able to earn. I've worked at a few too-many places and been involved in some massive contract negotiations as well as been on some "unique" investigative projects, and I've never had the support which I receive daily at Cass (in general) and from my manager (specifically). It's refreshing and empowering. It is also very appreciated. Ultimately I've learned, the grass is NOT always greener. Lastly, I've also brought to our team someone I've worked with in the past. I would never do this if I thought it wasn't a good place.Cons
Financial groups, much like educational institutions are not easily moved. My personality is to gather all of the information available at the time and make a decision. So I've learned that this is endemic to the profession.America's Best Midsized Employers 2021, Forbes, 2021 Top 500 Midsize Employer - 2019, Forbes, 2019
