We have an exciting opportunity to lead our in-house QA team and collaborate closely with the wider engineering team.
Requirements
Here's an idea of what you'll be doing:
- Be a driving force in delivering our automation strategy
- Own and elevate the QA Ways of Working
- Lead a passionate set of QA Engineers, mentoring, upskilling and coaching them
- Design, develop and support frameworks for the test infrastructure and provide automation expertise in our Engineering team
- Contribute heavily toward predictable delivery of quality releases
- Proactively bring issues and problems to the team, coming up with innovative and modern solutions where applicable
- Own and elevate our regression packs, automating where necessary
The Lead QA Automation Engineer will have the following:
- Strong background working in tooling or QA automation
- Strong experience in manual QA processes
- Demonstrable experience in architecting, writing and executing automated test suites in a variety of technologies
- Thorough understanding of the SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments
- Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes
- Strong working knowledge of TDD & BDD
- Building test infrastructure using containerisation technologies such as Docker
- Experience in leading a team of QA Engineers
Over the past 2 years we have revamped the way our QA team works, placing a focus on Agile Ways of Working, collaboration and involvement of QAs in all SDLC processes (left and right). We are now ready to shape the future of automation, taking the great work we've done to the next level. We are therefore looking for someone to lead this charge and drive us forward in the automation space.
