Position Overview

Designs and develops IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data, and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the Retiree Inc. technology roadmap.

Performs technical planning, architecture development, and modification of specifications.

Develops specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings within the Retiree Inc. portfolio of solutions.

Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in orderto ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

Typical Requirements

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 8+ years of total relevant work experience

Stays abreast of industry trends and technologies and knows when/how/if to apply them appropriately

Converses in many technologies and learns new technologies quickly

Demonstrates deep experience in automated testing and techniques

Defines testing strategy for products and ensures adherence to strategy

Sets standards for code reviews

Debugs any system, even those not written by themselves

Performs as an expert in multiple parts of the software lifecycle (e.g., coding, testing, development) and coaches others around such practices

Provides oversight of all development activities on assigned projects

Owns technical debt for multiple components or systems

Provides a clear and concise explanation of business strategy, technical concepts, designs or implementation to a non-technical audience

Colorado: Minimum salary (USD) range $144,000 - $246,000 Annual
- Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado, S9427A when hiring in New York, SB 1162 when hiring in California, and SB 5761 when hiring in the State of Washington.
