Finance & Compliance Manager (French Entity)

We are looking for a skilled Finance & Compliance Manager to oversee the financial and compliance operations of our French entity from our office in Hoorn, Netherlands. Key Responsibilities  

Leads.io is on the search for a Finance & Compliance Manager in France who is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial health of our French entity.

The responsibilities are:

Financial Management:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare French statutory and group financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.  
  • Ensure all financial statements comply with French accounting laws, tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax), and EU standards.  
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial transaction classifications.  

Tax & Compliance

  • Prepare and file tax declarations, including social contributions and corporate taxes, in alignment with French laws and group approvals.  
  • Serve as the main contact with the Direction générale des finances publiques (DGFiP) in collaboration with the Group Tax Director.  
  • Prepare for external group audits and provide necessary documentation.  

Operations Support

  • Process payroll in compliance with French labor laws and calculate social charges in coordination with HR.
  • Support local management by providing financial insights for budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Manage accounts receivable, collections, and interactions with debt collection agencies.  

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and legal entities.  
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients on invoicing and payment-related matters.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; French/other accounting qualification is a plus 
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting and consolidation roles
  • You have experience in finance in a a French organization
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent time management skills and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in the French and English languages
