Currently, we are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
Position Title: Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements and design solutions.
- Document customer and business requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Write and execute test scenarios, oversee integration testing, and participate in solution design meetings to ensure comprehensive coverage of business needs.
- Act as a liaison or stand-in Product Owner within Scrum teams, ensuring that all parties are aligned with sprint objectives and project timelines.
- Maintain a clear record of application bugs discovered during testing of sprint deliverables, logging issues and solutions into JIRA.
- May include travel to the US to participate in design sessions and/or implementation events as dictated by the modules or features being turned on at a warehouse facility.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with some direct involvement in warehousing/manufacturing/distribution systems. Strong background in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of EDI, system integrations, or Automation Integration within a warehousing context is a plus.
- Previous roles in quality assurance, functional document interpretation, test case development, and execution is highly beneficial.
- Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Abilities: Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
- Very Important: The candidate will have to have experience working for companies in WMS (Warehouse Management System) and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics).
