Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Lean/6 Sigma Intern located in our Austin, TX site.
Reporting to the Business Excellence Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:

Perform capacity modeling for 1 onsite model to include process mapping, time study and standard work process creation

Co-Lead Kaizen project
-
Create and implement water spider material flow and route

Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Junior/Senior undergrad student seeking Industrial Engineering or related major

Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment where products are manufactured at large scale

Microsoft Office Suite (advanced skills highly preferred)

Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills

Previous relevant internship experience, a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:

Available to start on May 30th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment

Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
