LeanData is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our People team. Reporting to the People Operations Manager, this role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in various HR functions, including benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding and off boarding and other HR tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer assistance and guidance on HR procedures and employee relations matters
Assist and oversee the entire onboarding process, including adding new hires into the system and leading onboarding sessions to impart information on benefits and company policies.
Conduct off boarding tasks and exit interviews.
Assist in payroll processing.
Support 401k plan administration tasks.
Support the annual performance review cycle.
Manage HRIS by updating records and generating reports, as needed.
Assist with Harassment Training
Assist with any ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Familiarity with HR procedures
Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
Eagerness to learn and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
A can-do attitude and a passion for making a positive impact on workplace culture.
Bonus Points for:
Understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
This role is based from our Santa Clara, CA office on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays and will be paid $17.75 per hour.
