Join a small yet impactful engineering team that’s reshaping the future of work. At Leapsome, we empower product engineers to take ownership of their work, contributing to the full lifecycle of our features—from ideation and discovery to development and iteration. Collaboration is at the core of how we operate: you’ll work closely with product and design teams, combining vision and technical insight to create innovative, scalable, and secure solutions that delight our users.
We emphasize delivering exceptional user experiences and solving real-world problems through thoughtful design, robust engineering, and an iterative, data-driven approach. As part of an agile and ambitious team, you’ll play a key role in shaping product and architecture decisions, creating features that truly make an impact.
Your primary focus will be on HRIS modules, such as payroll, time tracking, absences, and compensation. You’ll tackle complex workflows and compliance requirements, creating secure, scalable, and user-friendly tools that simplify HR processes for companies of all sizes. Alongside this, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to other strategic initiatives, including People Enablement and smarter platform features leveraging AI/LLMs.
You will:
Develop and enhance HRIS modules, focusing on complex workflows like payroll, time tracking, absences, and compensation
Collaborate with product, design, and legal teams to ensure compliance while delivering user-friendly, scalable solutions
Implement innovative solutions using AI/LLMs to automate workflows and enhance the user experience
Build and maintain reusable, scalable frontend and backend components using our modern tech stack (Vue.js, Node.js, MongoDB)
Ensure high-quality releases by contributing to robust testing, monitoring, and code review processes
Analyze data and user feedback to refine features iteratively and deliver meaningful product improvements
Contribute to cross-domain projects, such as smarter platform initiatives or People Enablement, when strategic priorities align
Actively participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain long-term maintainability and quality
Provide mentorship and guidance to teammates, helping the team grow in technical and product expertise
What is the technology stack?
Frontend: Vue.js, TailwindCSS, and a modern design system for a consistent, intuitive user experience
Backend: Node.js (TypeScript) with Express, MongoDB and NATS, built for scalability and modularity
AI/LLMs: Integration of state-of-the-art AI technologies, like GPT from OpenAI and LangChain, to create smarter workflows and enhance functionality
Infrastructure: Docker and AWS, ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines and scalable infrastructure
Testing: Automated testing using Playwright, Vitest, Mocha/Chai, and other tools to maintain high-quality, reliable codebases
Analytics: Mixpanel, Sentry, Datadog and custom solutions for data-driven development and monitoring
Collaboration: GitHub, Notion, and async communication tools for transparent teamwork
You’ll be a good fit if you:
Share our belief that engineering is a product-focused discipline, and you’re passionate about solving user problems with impactful solutions
Thrive in a dynamic, agile environment where priorities can shift, and enjoy collaborating across teams and domains
Have 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, working on scalable and secure applications
Are proficient with modern web frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) and backend technologies (Node.js, MongoDB)
Have experience working on transactional systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Are excited by the opportunity to leverage AI/LLMs to build innovative features and automate workflows
Value pragmatic excellence, striking a balance between high standards and efficient delivery

Can contribute to discussions on architecture and strategy while excelling in hands-on development
