Join a highly collaborative and product-focused engineering team that’s redefining how quality assurance integrates with software development. At Leapsome, QA is not a separate silo - it’s an integral part of the engineering process. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, customer success and designers to ensure every feature delivers exceptional quality and user satisfaction.

This role combines hands-on testing, automation, and innovative problem-solving. You’ll have the opportunity to drive automation efforts with tools like Playwright, screen and refine incoming tasks, and support scheduled release processes with manual testing where needed. Beyond this, you’ll play a key role in holding the engineering team to our quality standards, championing best practices, and exploring innovative approaches, such as leveraging AI in testing.

You will:

  • Drive the design and implementation of automation frameworks using tools like Playwright, ensuring scalable, reliable, and maintainable test coverage

  • Collaborate closely with engineers during the development lifecycle to identify edge cases and potential pitfalls early

  • Screen and refine incoming tasks, ensuring clear requirements and testability before development begins

  • Conduct exploratory testing for complex workflows and manual testing during scheduled release cycles to ensure seamless launches

  • Challenge engineers to uphold high-quality standards in code, functionality, and user experience, contributing to a culture of engineering excellence

  • Experiment with AI-driven testing approaches, identifying opportunities to enhance the speed and depth of QA processes

  • Monitor production systems and implement automated checks to maintain platform reliability and detect regressions proactively

  • Contribute to cross-functional projects, offering insights into testing strategies for smarter platform initiatives or AI-powered features

  • Document QA strategies and findings, fostering a learning environment and helping scale QA knowledge across the team

What is the Technology Stack?

  • Automation Frameworks: Playwright, Vitest, and Mocha/Chai for comprehensive automated testing

  • Infrastructure: Docker, Github Actions and AWS for scalable CI/CD pipelines and production systems

  • Collaboration: GitHub, Notion, and async communication tools to work transparently with the engineering team

  • Analytics: Mixpanel, Sentry, and Datadog to track feature performance and identify issues

  • AI/LLMs: Leveraging AI technologies like GPT from OpenAI for innovative testing strategies and smarter debugging processes

You’ll be a good fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a strong focus on automation
