To attract and retain key talents in those functions, the L&D Director partners with the Product and Technology leaders, VP People and People Business Partners to identify and strengthen the key capabilities for those teams, and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the creation of the CPrO & CTO L&D strategy in alignment to people and business strategies, in support of talent progression and development of greater levels of capability
Design and deliver development programs that will shift performance within function through a strong focus on capability as an enabler
Work in partnership with senior leaders and People VP to implement the learning strategy and embed required skills
Own functional reporting and ensure the evaluation of investment and the impact on performance for all Corporate and Functional programs
Lead the functional Apprentice and or Graduate development programs (Sage Ignite)
Provide leadership ‘year on year’ in terms of forecasting for functional investment in development and ensure relevant funds are acquired to support the required needs and budgets are governed proactively/efficiently
Engage with and support the delivery and promotion of global programs within function so as to gain insight and provide value
Support product and technology teams in their own development through facilitating team development sessions, provide coaching and support as and where required
Lead global learning projects as and where required by promoting and procuring resources in support of the project
Lead the implementation of the academy approach alongside other academy leads
Lead accountability for Pluralsight and ensuring all Sage learning platforms are maximised, communicated and adopted by the function as a key enabler.
Qualifications:
10 years’ experience in L&D, with proven experience and track record in delivering high value
Proficiency in English language, with strong verbal and written skills and proficient in local regional language where required
Educated to a Degree standard.
Experience in cross-functional, multi-country, virtual teams in matrix-organisations and used to working in a global organisation and dealing with different cultures and time zones.
Comfortable in training skills, i.e., theory, design, delivery and facilitation.
Experienced in the procurement and management of suppliers and management of budgets.
Strong consultancy skills and experience, gained in either an internal or external consultant role.
