Learning Management System Specialist

About the role:

The LMS Specialist is responsible for managing processes within Performance and Learning Management System (Cornerstone) and the Learning Experience Platform (Degreed). They will support the development, design, implementation and effectiveness of online learning programs within the LMS and LXP. This position is responsible for the ongoing administrative support of all online learning activities as well as end-user support. The specialist partners and works with every department and division within Actalent as well as across-OpCo.

What you'll do:

• Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of the systems and acts as the first line of contact for all LMS/LXP related administrative requests
• Assist internal SMEs in implementing training content and builds in LMS/LXP compatible formats
• Administer learning assignments to the correct audiences requested by using the standardized training administration processes
• Provide LMS/LXP related end user support (e.g., single sign on error, troubleshooting, etc.), utilizing the ServiceNow portal to manage and resolve incidents
• Research and identify best practices, providing guidance on leveraging LMS/LXP functionality to achieve training and company objectives
• Assists leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to implement and maintain department and role-related training strategy and the associated training curricula necessary to meet compliance requirements
• Maintain content within the LMS and LXP, including uploading, archiving and organizing new and old content
• System administration of third-party platforms including user set up, account generation, content uploads and reporting
• Participate in new product planning and review meetings, understand new release functionality and when/how to implement those for Actalent
• Manage external vendor relationships and integrations with various learning platforms, this includes contract negotiations, content selection and curation, marketing, education, change management and measuring end user engagement

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent job experience
• Experience with LMS or LXP, Cornerstone and Degreed preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Technical skills including troubleshooting, problem solving and understanding of systems and structure
• Must be an objective, fact-based decision maker
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with different timelines and end-users with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Advanced experience with the Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access)
