About the job

Our Learning and Culture Team works across Danone North America to define and drive learning strategies, support employee engagement and team effectiveness, and nurture leadership development that support the strategic objectives of the business. By joining our Learning and Culture Team, you will be responsible for understanding learning needs and creating and delivering learning strategies for our first-time people managers. Through thorough needs analysis and proactive and transparent stakeholder management, the Learning Manager identifies and determines effective learning interventions for the organization. The Learning Manager also facilitates learning sessions for internal client groups and analyzes the efficacy of learning initiatives with an eye towards continuous improvement.


We are currently looking to hire a learning manager based out of White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO.


In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Regularly engaging stakeholders to understand the learning needs of your target audiences, first time people managers
  • Developing a comprehensive annual learning strategy for the first-time people manager audience, with clear learning needs and discreet KPIs
  • Facilitating 1 - 2 training sessions per week in alignment with the established annual learning strategy
  • Reporting on the success of learning interventions, ready to problem solve when analysis demonstrates an issue with the solution.
  • Working cross-functionally with HR partners and Talent Management as well as global Danone learning teams to ensure the local learning strategy addresses the competency needs of the business and complements the global learning priorities
  • Supporting special Learning & Culture project work as needed
  • Providing consultative learning support to our manufacturing team
About you

  • You will have a bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • You will have minimum five years’ experience in learning and development, instructional development, talent development, training or equivalent
  • You will have at least two years’ regular facilitation experience in both virtual and in-person environments
  • You will have experience with a variety of leadership curricula, including: FranklinCovey, Insights Discovery, Fierce Conversations or equivalent
  • You will have experience managing a variety of internal stakeholders and driving for results
  • You will be a proactive, results oriented, collaborator working in a fast-paced environment where how you deliver results is just as important as the results you deliver
  • You will be willing to travel up to 25% to support in-person facilitations and training sessions
  • You will be located within daily commuting distance or willing to relocate to our White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO headquarters.

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000.
