About the Role: As a Regional People Business Partner, your role is pivotal in managing employee relations escalations within the region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex People issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and local regulations while enhancing retention and employee satisfaction. Collaborating closely with partner companies, you'll proactively address common issues and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Additionally, you'll lead strategic People projects such as policy updates and compensation reviews, aiming to refine and optimize People processes. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner companies to align People strategies with business objectives, offering expert advice and fostering a consultative partnership. Your responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with local regulations and mitigating People-related risks through proactive measures.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations Escalations Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations escalations within the region.
- Investigate and resolve complex People issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to People teams at partner companies for effective issue resolution.
- Work with local partners to proactively address common issues resulting in improved retention, employee satisfaction, etc.
- Create and deliver performance improvement plans for employees with local Partner People staff when appropriate.
- Work with Partner Support and local Partner teams on performance management, labor utilization, and related operational processes to improve efficiency and performance in assigned region.
- Strategic People Projects:
- Lead and contribute to People projects, including policy updates in coordination with the Partner Support People Team, performance and compensation reviews, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing People processes and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of People projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with regional and local leadership on project roll outs to improve buy-in and adoption.
- Partner-level Business Partnership:
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner companies to understand their unique People needs and align People strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide expert People advice to partners, fostering a consultative and collaborative People partnership.
- Provide support and guidance to site level People where appropriate including tactical training and problem resolution for items such as HRIS requests, payroll processing, benefits, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure People practices and policies comply with local regulations and company standards.
- Identify and mitigate People-related risks through proactive measures and continuous monitoring.
- Participate in LSP People team Meetings
- Assisting on new initiatives for the LSP People team by providing input and feedback
- Rolling out LSP People strategic initiatives to your partner group by hosting weekly or bi-weekly meetings and lead training efforts.
- Work collaborative with peers on analyzing employee survey data and creating actionable improvement plans with local Partners.
- Closely support and be involved with assigned region Partners on delivering a world-class employee experience – champion LSP and Partner culture initiatives, LSP core values.
Qualification- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience as an HR/People Business Partner or similar role.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective coaching and guidance to managers and employees.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to frequently travel within the assigned Region as needed. Less than 10%, can primarily be done remotely.
