Russian Language Triage Examiner

DescriptionThe National Security Sector is seeking experienced Triage Examiners fluent in Russian to perform media exploitation (MEDEX) and triage for a customer in the National Capital Region (NCR).The primary responsibilities of the Russian Language Triage Examiner include:• Performing data discovery on large datasets of foreign language material and identifying essential elements of information.• Converting, reformatting, parsing, and otherwise exploiting media files using customer tools to ensure compatibility and readability for translation systems.• Preparing files and metadata for transfer to translation systems, including review of foreign-language data.• Producing reports of findings and disseminating them to customers, analysts, and liaison officers.• Preparing accurate written gists, translations, and/or transcriptions of general and technical material.Basic Qualifications• Native-level proficiency in English and a minimum score of a 3/3 in Reading and Listening in Russian and 3+/3+ for Reading and Listening in English.• Ability to make sound decisions and handle stress while meeting deadlines in a high-paced environment.• TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.Preferred Qualifications• Native-level proficiency in a foreign language• Graduate of the Defense Language Institute Russian Course.• Experience in Digital Forensics/eDiscovery/Document and Media Exploitation processes and specialized tools.
