About the Role: 

As a Purchasing Coordinator at Level, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Purchasing team’s strategies and standards. Your responsibilities will revolve around processing purchasing orders, tracking shipments, and solving supply chain-related problems. You will also assist in inventory management, vendor collaboration, and improvement initiatives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize purchasing workflows to help Level achieve optimized outcomes. You demonstrate an ability to challenge the status quo, are a catalyst for change, and will help this team take it to the next level providing material at the right time, place, price, quantity, and quality as we grow. 

Responsibilities:

• Support Purchasing Operations: Process Purchase Orders, proactively track logistics exceptions, and support in developing and maintaining on-time and in-full delivery metrics.
• Inventory Coordination: Evolve and enforce controls for best-in-class inventory management. Maintain standards that mitigate the opportunity for loss at 3PL and project sites.
• Small-scale shipments & returns: If in the greater Salt Lake City, UT area, perform ad hoc shipments and occasionally receive and manage returned material 
• Communication and Collaboration: Engage in clear and prompt communication with other departments to identify hurdles and assist in finding solutions
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for improvements to gain efficiencies. Lead initiatives to better the Purchasing team operations 
• System Assistance: Master existing CRM and ERP systems and explore enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy in operations. Support with automation initiatives and adoption of standard purchasing tasks. 
• Vendor Interaction: Support in managing vendor relationships. Submit and manage performance data. Make sure we’re getting the best price we can.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 3+ years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or similar position
• Strong individual contributor with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
• Direct experience in consumer electronics/hardware, technology, or smart home automation is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify risks, help develop mitigation strategies, and make informed decisions.
• Express opinions professionally, able to receive feedback gracefully, and be comfortable contributing to meetings 
• Working understanding of ordering systems including CRM, ERP, EDI, etc. Salesforce & Netsuite experience are a plus
• Indirect or direct involvement in warehouse operations preferred 
• Exemplifies the Level values as reported by peers.
