Part Time Staff Accountant

We are seeking applicants for a Part Time Staff Accountant for a great company in Burlington. The Part Time Staff Accountant position is responsible for managing the accounting tasks and assisting with the financial records of the company. An ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and would be comfortable working 20-25 hours per week.Responsibilities:• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable• Perform month end closing activities such as revenue accounting, expense accounting, account reconciliation, etc• Perform financial and accounting related activities in a timely manner• Evaluate financial documents for correctness and completeness• Assist with payroll as needed• Ensure financial and accounting reports are prepared in accordance to company/federal rules and regulations.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in a related field highly preferred• Familiarity with accounting computer programs such as Quickbooks, Excel, etc• Great communications skillsIf you would like to be considered for this role and you are available for part time work, apply now!Pay is dependent on experience but range is $24-28/hour on a permanent basis.Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hourSearch managed by: Will StevensBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
