Staff Accountant ($70-80k)

Title: Staff AccountantLocation: Carrollton, TX (In-Office)Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000 + BonusThe Staff Accountant will provide accounting assistance to the Accounting team. Primary focus around general ledger, reconciliations, invoicing, fixed asset processing and roll forwards, and inter-company monitoring. Responsibilities will apply to multiple entities.Essential Job Duties:• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information• Responsible for general ledger entries• Reconcile general ledger account balances & research discrepancies• Review revenue recognition and billing documentation, prepare month end reconciliations and accruals• Follow and document company internal controls• Internal communication with related entities accounting staff for intercompany payables and receivables• Other duties as requested by supervisorQualifications and Requirements:Education: Bachelor's DegreeExperience:• 1+ years' Accounting Experience• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred• Proficiency in Microsoft operating system and suite of tools preferred• Experience with an ERP outside of QuickBooks is preferredSpecific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:• Ability to effectively communicate and lead• Ability to successfully solve problems• Ability to quickly shift focus quickly to newly prioritized tasks from management• Meet expectations for completions of duties on tight deadlines• Ability to effectively function in open office environment• Ability to manage direction from multiple sources and Controllers or Assistant Controllers• Comply with all Company policies and proceduresIf this sounds like a role you are interested in, please send your resume directly to Skylar Morrison at skylar.morrison@lhh.com.
