About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test you will create automated test frameworks, design and implement test cases, and write code to improve the overall testability of software. You collaborate with other software engineers to grow test coverage and integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline. You participate in design reviews and look for ways to improve testability. Help create the most reliable solution for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Spearhead development of frontend and backend test automation infrastructure

• Work with other members of the engineering team to identify test needs early in the development process, and highlight where designs increase test difficulty

• Design, implement, and maintain automation infrastructure and other test tools

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites

• Manually test the places where automation doesn’t yet reach

• Identify and triage system regressions

• Perform usability and exploratory testing, finding edge cases and unexpected interactions and recommending new avenues for test based on your discoveries

• Test SDKs generated in several programming languages

• Occasional travel and off-hours support may be required, but are not core to this role

You’ll Be a Good Fit If you have

• 3 years of professional experience as a senior SDET and at least 7 years total working in similar roles

• Have worked with TypeScript projects

• Created testing methodology for APIs

• Have build test plans and automation for software with many user defined options

• Integration experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Built UI testing using frameworks like Playwright

• Cloud hosted web based software-as-a-service test experience

Nice To Have

• Experience with AWS technologies

• Familiar with GitHub Actions integration for testing

• OpenAPI specification test experience

• Worked at an early stage startup

The salary range for this role is $124k – $189k for candidates in the United States. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. A candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives. For full-time employees, our benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, WFH stipend, and PTO. For candidates residing outside of the United States, the compensation will reflect the given geography market value.
