How Does Zeel’s Wellness Massage Platform Work?

Zeel’s nationwide consumer wellness platform allows individual and corporate clients to book massages in the comfort of homes, workplaces, hotels, or spas. As a member of the Zeel Provider Network, you may also be eligible for these appointments.

Medical Massage Opportunity Treating Veterans

Therapists with an NPI number are eligible to perform medically prescribed massage treating Veterans on the Zeel platform. This is a rare opportunity to deliver much-needed care to this deserving population.

• VA referrals include multiple massages (typically 12) in a designated period.
• If a therapist takes a VA referral through Zeel, they will receive all appointments in the referral.
• The therapist works with the Veteran directly to develop a treatment plan and completes clinical SOAP notes for each appointment.
• Treatments may be delivered in the Veteran’s home or a suitable facility environment (subject to approval by Zeel)
• Zeel handles all billing and claims – so you can focus on care, not paperwork.

Requirements

• Massage therapy license or certificate in the state(s) you wish to practice
• Current professional liability insurance with a minimum of $1M per occurrence and $3M aggregate coverage
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number required for medical appointments; if you do not have an NPI, Zeel can advise on this simple, free process
• Completion of SOAP notes for medical (VA) appointments
• Smartphone required to receive appointment requests; must be lockable via password or biometric identification such as a thumbprint
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to speak, understand, and write English fluently
