Licensed Practical Nurse

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with supervisory experience to join our Healthcare department. The ideal candidate must have a registered LPN license and a minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing. The LPN will be responsible for supervising and coordinating various aspects of the Healthcare department, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with regulations, and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
Supervision and Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, addressing queries, and providing necessary education and training when required.
Attend scheduled departmental meetings to foster collaboration and keep the Healthcare department informed about interdepartmental issues.

Orientation and Training:Provide orientation to new employees joining the Healthcare department.
Deliver ongoing training to current Healthcare department employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Staff Scheduling and Management:Prepare and maintain staff nurse schedules and communicate them to relevant parties.
Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and manage staff needs to ensure adequate Healthcare coverage.
Take responsibility for after-hours call-ins, arranging nursing staff as required to maintain continuous Healthcare coverage.

Collaboration with Physicians:Work closely with physicians to provide the best possible Healthcare services.
Prepare Healthcare records for physicians' clinic visits and ensure the timely transcription and execution of physician orders to meet the Healthcare needs of our patients, particularly adolescents.

Healthcare Supplies:Regularly check and maintain supplies required for the Healthcare department.
Ensure an adequate stock of essential items, and coordinate with relevant vendors for supply procurement.

Compliance and Documentation:Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure continuous compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Regularly review and update records to meet the highest standards of Healthcare clinic operations.

Requirements:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license:Must have a valid and registered LPN license.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse, with a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care.

Supervisory Experience: Prior experience in a supervisory or management role is essential.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, both internal and external.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Flexibility: Willingness to work additional hours, including weekends and holidays, to cover staffing gaps when needed.

Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations and documentation practices.
