Provide comprehensive onboarding and administrative technical support to Agents, Field Operations Managers, Agency Management Specialist’s (AMS’s), Personal Lines Marketing Specialist’s (PLMS’s), Territory Manager’s, and Flood Territory Managers’ specific to appointing licensed agents for Selective. Validate, maintain, and update licensing information in appropriate Selective approved systems and State based systems in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Verify integrity and completeness of agency onboarding documentation.
- Responsible for creating new agency setups which includes: obtaining and retaining appropriate onboarding documentation (executed contracts, W9’s, E&O, and Purchase Agreements), the verification of State appointments by required lines of business, the entry of data into various agency management systems (AGT5, Torrent, CRM, Vertafore, Ivans), Recording and the verification of commissions Automated Clearing House (ACH) data. or originate agency downloads – Flood.
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and termination of individual agency user profiles accurately within the Flood quoting system. Service includes but not limited to the updating of user information, validation of user access levels, and verification of National Producer Number (NPN) when user is appointed with Selective.
- Research and register agency and producer licenses in accordance with State regulations. Validate license and appointment status of existing agencies and producers by state to ensure appointment statuses remains compliant with both Selective and State guidelines. Validation consist of verification from agency management systems (Vertafore) and State base Department of Insurance web sites to various Selective systems.
- Responsible for agency and producer terminations in accordance with the appropriate state Department of Insurance requirements. Update agency management systems (AGT5, Vertafore, Torrent) accurately to reflect changes in appointment status. Communicate with all impacted parties regarding changes in appointment condition.
- Work closely with Field Managers and in house staff when processing all necessary agency/producer changes, agency/producer appointments, and general inquiries within department time standards. Ensure that all changes made are done accurately and understand the downstream impacts when changes are made in various systems. Aid in the assistance in the formation and maintenance of agency hierarchy changes. Ensure appropriate appointments and linkages are in place.
- Maintain a working knowledge of state licensing regulations and any changes that occur. Responsible for having a strong knowledge of each system utilized by the department as well as how each of these systems integrate with each other. Also required to have an understanding of licensing requirements specific to Flood insurance and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
- Communicate daily with agency staff in a professional manner and within department standards. Communication includes email and phone calls. Assist clients with obstacles regarding but not limited to: policy downloads, user access requests, commission questions and documentation retrieval.
- Manage request regarding agency mergers and acquisitions. Requests include but is not limited to updating agency contracts, customized system setups and customized agency commission agreements. Must communicate directly with agencies and field staff involved in a timely fashion to ensure completeness and accuracy of setups. Update all systems involved accurately and in accordance with State guidelines.

- Hours worked for this position will be 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST
Salary range: $45,700.00 - $75,500.00. The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include the candidate's qualifications and experience.
