Festo Corporation is searching for an Industry Segment Specialist for the Medlab Industry.

Duties of this job include:

• This industry segment specialist with support the Life Science industry.
• We are seeking a specific skill set, the candidate should have experience in selling liquid valves (prio 1) and mechatronics (prio 2) in the Life Science OEM market.
• They will have direct accounts and driving business thru direct and indirect channels.
• Primary responsibility is business development via a consultative, technical sales approach for the defined customers in this industry.
• Effectively handle assigned customers through consultative selling and the technical understanding of applications.
• Develops national strategy for Industry Segment/Industry Cluster.
• Manages the price policy and customer conditions in line with the company policies and in collaboration with the IS Manager.
• Effectively handles strategic accounts and achieves agreed sales targets.
• Coaches and trains the team (i.e. Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, National Key Account Managers, and IS Team Leader) in IS-related knowledge.
• Contributes to the preparation and implementation of marketing strategies for the specific cluster.
• Supports IS Team Leader, Sales manager and Management in general providing market inputs and information.
• Responsible for collection of product requirements of the IS as an input for ISP.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineer, or technical equivalent from four-year college/university.
• Working knowledge of Medlab Industry.
• Expertise should be in life science applications, specifically in micro-fluidics and liquid dispensing.
• A working knowledge of fluid power, process valves, and controls is required.
• Field sales force, key account management, project management experience is desired.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Project Management skills and a good working knowledge of MS office products.
