We are seeking a Line Cook to join our dedicated kitchen staff!

Great Schedule! Monday - Friday: 5:30 AM-2:30 PM

HOLIDAY'S OFF

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND CHECK.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CREDIT CHECK

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

*Position Summary:
Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, or other food as required. Serve customers during meal periods.

  • Ability to correctly and safely use standard kitchen equipment: chef knives, convection ovens, meat and cheese slicing machines, steamers, mandolins, and grill
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for food preparation.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 #.
  • Employee must be able to work on their feet 8 hours per day excluding breaks.

Employee must be able work under pressure and time deadlines during service.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Season and cook food.
  • Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked properly, taking temperatures. Adjust seasoning to customer tastes.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
  • Follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents.
  • Commitment to the service values and ethics of the client company.
  • Comply with all ServSafe and Tri-service food code principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
