This role will is based in Omaha, NE.

The Acquisition & Engagement team is dedicated to optimizing the entire customer journey of LinkedIn's small business clients, from acquisition to ongoing retention. Our team operates across all Online Solutions, providing expert guidance to ensure our clients’ investment is realized, enabling business growth, and driving customer success. Our team is comprised of highly skilled professionals, with specialized expertise in key areas critical to success in today's digital marketplace. 

In addition to our core focus on optimizing customer journeys, we also actively seek out new ventures and partnerships throughout the company to identify and address gaps in the market and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Our team is constantly testing and incubating innovative solutions to increase revenue, improve customer engagement, and provide valuable insights that drive business growth. 

We are currently seeking a dynamic Engagement Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in educating and engaging our members, delivering exceptional experiences, and contributing to revenue targets. You will be the face of our company, responding to inbound customer requests via live chat, email, and phone, while maintaining the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will be a key driver of pilot programs, helping to promote, inform, and encourage the use of LinkedIn products.  

As an Acquisition & Engagement Consultant, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Drive revenue and educate members through chat and email support for LinkedIn's paid services. 

  • Adapt processes to meet evolving customer and business needs. 

  • Provide exceptional support while ensuring all customer interactions are accurately and promptly documented. 

  • Identify trends and compile insights to provide feedback to management for ongoing improvement. 

  • Ensure maximum customer satisfaction by swiftly and appropriately escalating and resolving issues. 

  • Discover product improvements that can enhance the customer experience and deliver feedback proactively. 

  • Proactively educate members about LinkedIn solutions and propose mutually beneficial options to address their pain points and drive revenue. 

  • Collaborate with management to ensure accurate support and revenue cultivation. 

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. 

  • Foster high levels of team commitment and enthusiasm  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, sales, or account management 

  • Experience communicating with customers via email and chat. 

  • Experience working towards sales target. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree and equivalent work experience. 

  • Excellent internal and external communication, relationship management and teamwork skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 

  • Experience utilizing analytical skills to identify critical trends and customer satisfaction. 

  • Ability to effectively uncover the goals and intent of the customer to up-sell and/or cross sell LinkedIn solutions. 

  • Proven ability to adapt to change and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) 

  • Knowledge of PC-based Internet/software applications. 

  • Possess a high aptitude for new technology and social media with the ability to use the internet as a source of information.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. 

The pay range for this role is $58,000 to $83,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
