This role will be bsaed in New York, San Fransisco, or Sunnyvale.

The Principal Associate will play a crucial role on the Ops Improvement & Quality team within Central Operations. This position involves close collaboration with Deal Desk, other Central Ops teams, cross-GTM Ops teams, and R&D teams to develop and implement recommendations for enhancing operations through process redesign and technology, ensuring scalability and sustainability across our Order-to-Cash (OTC) ecosystem. 

In this role, the Principal Associate will foster connections among leaders, teams, and programs to ensure process excellence while optimizing growth and scaling the business effectively. The Central Operations team comprises operational, policy, and revenue-driving teams that serve as the backbone of LinkedIn’s SaaS and Marketing businesses. 

This position presents an exciting opportunity to work alongside various operational functions to implement and execute business strategies. The role is based in the US and will require some domestic and international travel as needed. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Use problem solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, conduct data-driven analysis, extrapolate key insights, and deliver recommendations   

  • Partner closely with Deal Desk leadership to drive business strategies, lead complex programs and present key insights and recommendations to senior business leaders  

  • Learn quickly, be agile and proactive, as well as assume ownership for broad tracks and global workstreams   

  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the business to ensure it is operating as successfully as possible, stepping in to help drive improvements as needed  

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the SaaS and Marketing businesses, with the ability to understand the big picture and drop into process level details as needed  

  • Conduct research on industry trends and gather competitive intelligence as input to strategies and recommendations  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  

  • BA/BS degree in business, economics, engineering, math, statistics, computer science or related discipline  

  • 6+ years of work experience with Order Management and Marketing Operations 

  • 6+ years of experience working in a Marketing business organization  

  • Knowledge of end-to-end order-to-case process 

  • Demonstrated experience driving and implementing process improvements 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Deal Desk, Pricing experience in Marketing businesses  

  • Comfortable with data and ambiguity, and enjoys solving business problems through analysis and storytelling   

  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel  

  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication, experience with senior level management   

  • Comfortable interacting one-to-one with individual technical contributors and senior leaders 

  • A love for change and an ability to thrive in a complex and fast-moving environment   

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead meetings and guide cross-functional teams through decision-making processes   

  • Intellectually curious, strong emotional intelligence, resilient, passionate and humble   

  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams   

  • Experience working on or in global Enterprise businesses   

  • Proven track record of program management for large, cross-functional, strategic enterprise-wide programs   

  • MBA or applicable advanced degree

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  

The pay range for this role is $109,000 - $178,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
