First Senior Finance is an established Finance and Insurance Company exclusively for the Mobility Industry and is now entering, after 25 years, an exciting new phase of its growth as a direct lender of unsecured loans.

By providing loans to those who struggle to obtain credit through traditional High Street lenders, perhaps due to a poor credit history or simply age, we pride ourselves on being a responsible lender by completing affordability checks on each application before approval.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Situated at our offices in Caddington, the Underwriting Team is responsible for processing all new loan applications received via our appointed represented agents:-

· A pivotal function is to assess the affordability and sustainability of a loan, ensuring that the customer is made fully aware of the features, benefits and costs of the proposed agreement.

· You will be predominately talking to potential customers by telephone and corresponding via email. In addition, you will be liaising with our appointed agents who pass potential customers applications to First Senior.

· As part of the application process, you will be required to review and assess the information provided by credit reference agencies and interrogate the banking data supplied by the potential customer. By talking directly to that customer using all of the information available, you will then be able to recommend loan approval.

· In addition, you will also be contacting people who have fallen behind with their payments and ideally resolving that situation.

We are seeking people who:-

· Are confident and methodical with a keen eye for detail.

· Possess strong numerical skills to process loan applications from initial enquiry to completion with the ability to correspond by text and email.

· Have excellent telephone communication skills. Clearly spoken English is a must when interacting with our customer base.

· Are self-motivated, dedicated and illustrate enthusiasm, tenacity and a pride in their work.

· Know the meaning of excellent customer service.

· Can quickly learn and comprehend changes in a regulated environment.

· Understand the need to help people regain their mobility and freedom.

Salary Package:-

· Annual salary of £23,000.00 plus a monthly paid bonus (OTE - £27,000 per year).

· Company Pension Scheme.
