Local Company Driver - HOME DAILY - NON CDL Box Truck

Company Driver – NO CDL REQUIRED - LOCAL Deliveries for Ashley's Furniture(5-10 stops daily)

We are looking for an experienced 26ft Box Truck Driver (2 years minimum) - Local Ashley's Furniture deliveries 5-10 stops per day - HOME DAILY - Tuesday through Saturday. Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds. (Minimal assembly required for delivered just dropping off to customers home)

Key Responsibilities:

• 80% Driving and delivering product to our customers - Drive a 26 ft box truck on a local route; Communicate delivery updates to customers and stores; Load the truck in an efficient manner for unload and confirm customer orders; Climb in and out of delivery cab to accommodate customer deliveries throughout the day; Perform overtime as required to accomplish deliveries and maintain customer satisfaction
• 20% Systemically updating the status of orders - Ensure all systemic updates to orders are accurately and timely entered handheld device
• Liftgate/ Dolly to unload customers orders at their homes.

Travel Requirements:

• Typically requires daily routes around 50 – 300 miles. HOME DAILY

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Must be 23 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid, active Driver's License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs.
• Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen
• Provide Customer Satisfaction Postcard to customer after completion of delivery and thank them for being a Home Depot customer
• Must be familiar with local and surrounding areas
• Ability to use GPS and follow directions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $650.00 per week

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
