Hospitality Operations Manager - Philadelphia

About the role

We’re looking for a highly entrepreneurial, results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our growing short-term rental and hotel operations in Philadelphia. You’ll manage critical vendor relationships and direct in-market hospitality and housekeeping staff. Your goal will be to generate high guest satisfaction and NPS scores while delivering great operating margins. We are looking for someone based in Philadelphia who can maintain a strong relationship with ownership, vendors, staff, and the community. 

What you’ll do

• Own operations, housekeeping, and the guest experience in Philadelphia

• Work closely with our centralized Guest Services team

• Guarantee rooms are in top condition for guest arrivals

• Closely manage our housekeeping and laundry vendors and standards

• Complete weekly and monthly unit audits and property inspections

• Manage preventative maintenance timelines  

• Serve as an acting Manager on Duty

• Analyze and interpret financial and non-financial data to make informed decisions

• Recruit, hire, and train new team members

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in a hospitality operations role, preferably with back of house experience

• Highly entrepreneurial background and an ability to learn fast

• Strategic mindset and can proactively identify opportunities to make things better

• Proactive in addressing all guest requests

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision

• Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, and other tech-forward tools and software
