As part of our Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Classified Cyber Security team, you will drive the convergence of cloud security and automation to enhance our 21st Century Security services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cloud Security Implementation: Collaborate with System Architects, System Administrators, and Classified Cyber Security teams to implement, maintain, and operate cloud boundaries and security tools.
• Infrastructure Protection: Work with Enterprise Operations and Aeronautics Classified IT to define and build processes that safeguard our infrastructure from threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance misconfigurations.
• Future Domain Planning: Participate in the planning and implementation of current and future domains, including emerging areas like Cloud Computing and DevSecOps.
• System Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring.
• Risk Assessments: Conduct vulnerability risk assessments and investigations on IA-related security incidents and violations.
• Training and Mentoring: Provide on-the-job technical training and mentoring for Classified Cyber Security personnel on cybersecurity tools and initiatives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Lead technical and non-technical discussions with stakeholders, explaining complex concepts in an accessible manner.
Qualifications:
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in cloud infrastructure, security tools, and risk governance, with a focus on automation and proactive security methodologies.
• Experience: Proven experience in cybersecurity, particularly within classified environments, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and software development pipelines.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor junior cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

AeroCyber
Basic Qualifications:
• Hands on experience building and securing Azure workloads and meeting Security Benchmarks
• Advanced proficiency with configuring and deploying Microsoft Defender and Sentinel analytics/playbooks
• A comprehension of security standards and frameworks, regulations, and system trust principals, such as FedRAMP, NIST SP 800 Series, JSIG, OWASP, and CSA Star and writing RMF documentation
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps concepts/processes and CI/CD pipeline tools
• Cloud Security credentials demonstrating proficiency (i.e., CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Splunk architecture and Splunk-based products
• Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and security requirement implementation in cloud environments
Desired Skills:
• Strong attention to detail, able to analyze complex technical data, and derive sound decisions based on that data
• DoD Directive 8570.1 IAM Level III or higher certification or ability to obtain one
• Experience with cyber security products (i.e., Splunk, Nessus, McAfee, Ivanti, etc.)
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Windows Domain infrastructure (i.e., Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Group Policy Objects, Active Directory, etc.
• Strong Experience with configuration management products (i.e., Ansible, SCCM/MECM, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
• Possess expert-level knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure security products, including Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Entra, Sentinel, etc.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native container orchestration and management, such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker, and securing them using access controls, encryption, and auditing
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $128,900 - $247,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $148,200 - $279,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
