Job ID: 673755BRDate posted: Aug. 23, 2024Description:Top Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years and ability to obtain SCI eligibility and Polygraph.Lockheed Martin is seeking a Computer Systems Security Analyst to perform as a COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO). This role ensures the protection of classified information in support of National Security programs as well as enable the reliable and trusted communications over commercial networks.Specific duties of this position include the safeguarding and accounting for classified and unclassified COMSEC Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCIs); disseminate, inventory, and destroy COMSEC keying material; maintain COMSEC records; perform courier duties, and comply with customer required security procedures.In this role, you will:• Maintain 100% accountability of all COMSEC items.• Provide COMSEC support to off-sites/sub accounts.• Review COMSEC equipment audit trails for user compliance and document results.• Process and distribute incoming packages in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.• Perform wrapping and marking of outgoing packages per policy.• Assist with destruction of key material and tracking of COMSEC documents.• Perform receipt, transfer, safeguarding and destruction activities• Order keying material, receive OTAT's, in-process and issue key material.• Conduct semi-annual inventories of accountable material and documents.• Use and maintain common fill devices.• Prepare and ship material IAW with COMSEC instructions.Basic Qualifications:• Top Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years and ability to obtain SCI eligibility and Polygraph• Prior COMSEC experience• Demonstrated knowledge of the AFMAN 17-1302, NCSM, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire• Must be able to complete customer COMSEC course within 12 months of hireDesired Skills:• TS/SCI with Polygraph• Familiarity with one or more service/agency COMSEC programs• Ability to apply knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations• Knowledge of cleared contractor operations: computer, physical, technical and personnel security requirements• Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on clear and cogent presentation of complex information to a variety of diverse audiences• Knowledge and experience managing classified programs• Demonstrated success in well-reasoned decision making and reasoning in applying solutions to problems• Ability to identify, assess & resolve unique security situations with innovative solutions geared to facilitate contract performance within the bounds of security requirementsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/PolyOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $64,400 - $123,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
