We are a matrix engineering and technology organization so you will touch multiple programs over your career!What You Will Be DoingAs a Hardware Engineering and Technology (E&T) Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:• Demonstrate Full Spectrum leadership and will direct and coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects for the Special Analysis program.• Management and development of their team, support of department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution.• Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.• Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.• Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program.It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).Telecommuting opportunities can vary depending on daily tasking.
