Description:WHAT WE'RE DOINGThe AN/TPQ-53 radar system has a long, rich history protecting the U.S. Army for more than a decade. The Q-53 has proven experience detecting mortars, rockets and artillery and is responsible for keeping troops protected, ensuring a safe return home to their families. 'WHO WE AREOur most advanced radar systems are designed by our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team, and we are looking for highly talent individuals, like yourself, with a passion for ground based, ship based, and airborne platform RADAR Technology. We provide rf designs from circuit board components, modules, radars, and radar systems working in a totally integrated environment.THE WORKIn this role you will:-Be responsible for research, design and development of RF circuits, including Antennas/Radiating Elements used in Radar Applications operating at UHF, L, S, C and X-Band.- Work alongside other Senior Engineers and Subject Matter Experts and across various programs to design Receiver/Exciter circuits and subsystems.- Lead junior RF engineers through mentoring and technical guidance.- Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test transmitter, power, and analog circuitry.- Provide leadership experience with RF engineers and engineers of other disciplines including mechanical, systems, and software.-Develop technical solutions to complex problems, support failure analysis, Material Review Board processing, discrepancy documentation, resolution, and troubleshooting.WHO YOU AREWe are seeking individuals who possess expertise in:-Architecting and designing Radio Frequency systems and circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.-Hardware layouts, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test.-Preparing test methods and specifications.-Providing inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supporting manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase.-Identifying and tracking RF technical performance measurements (TPMs).WHY JOIN US'We may not know what's going to change the world next, but chances are we're already working on it, and you can, too. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $114,100 - $218,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $131,200 - $247,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
