LP provides you a work laptop, headset, mouse, and monitor.• Work/Life Balance: We encourage a healthy work/life balance for all employees.• A dynamic company with fantastic team culture atop a rapidly growing industry!Position DetailsTasks:• Collaborate with stakeholders on data initiatives to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations• Develop and maintain robust and scalable data models, data pipelines, and ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration from various sources• Design and connect enterprise data sources to the BI data warehouse/lake in Azure cloud and automate data processes in order to drive strategic outcomes and foster a culture of data driven excellence across departments• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using industry standard business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) to make data more digestible to aid in stakeholders’ decision making• Interpret data, analyze results, and visualize insights using statistical techniques to support business decisions• Collaborate with Technology and business stakeholders to drive enforcement of policies related to data architecture and data business practices, capture business rules, data definitions, and perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of reports and visualizations• Identify and propose improvements to data architecture related quality within the BI warehouse environment to ensure the integrity, reliability, and relevance of our data assets• Design and implement data access, integration, and security processes that adhere to governance and security policies, enabling secure and seamless access to data• Create comprehensive documentation and explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability to establish best practices and ensure clarity, consistency, and efficiency in all processes and operations• Identify opportunities for data acquisition to enhance decision making capabilities, optimize processes, and drive innovation through informed insightsRequired Skills & Certifications:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field or equivalent work experience• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field or 5+ years of relevant experience without related degree• Familiarity with digital marketing is desired• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Experience with SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Data Bricks and SQL Server• Knowledge of API modeling/engineering and dimensional modeling• Familiarity with Data Warehousing and related technologies as well as cloud infrastructure and capabilities• Experience creating and managing data pipelines using APIs, coding language (e.g. Java/Scala, Python, SQL),• Experience with data integration platforms including Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, and Airbyte• Skilled at data transformation and storage according to ETL/ELT best practices and the understanding of data architecture for data analysis• Experience developing and maintaining relational and NoSQL data warehouses (SQL Server, Cosmos) knowledge of Mongo DB is a plus• Experience with the cloud data platform Azure, AWS knowledge is a plus and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Holistics, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Alteryx, etc.)This job description indicates in general the nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities and other essential functions (as covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act) expected of an employee in this position.
