Logistics Supply Chain Admin

TrinityRail Logistics is hiring a Logistic Supply Chain Admin in Eagle Pass, Texas.

In this position you will provide administrative support for our Logistics/Supply Chain program and services such as purchasing, planning, scheduling, expediting, or dispatching support to employees/managers within a plant or business unit. Duties may include the following – placing orders for supplies or materials, matching invoices to receivers, scheduling materials for facility work centers, coordinating inbound and outbound shipping, compiling and maintaining inventory or daily production records, assigning materials to job orders, and conducting physical inventory.

What you’ll do:

• Works on administrative assignments with clearly defined objectives
• Performs routine clerical duties using prescribed procedures
• Problems are limited in scope and complexity
• Receive/transfer in LX
• Report insufficient space in LX
• Run Queries to compare received and transferred
• Confirm if an invoice needs to be rectified
• Learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience
• Ability to follow oral or simple written instructions and procedure
• Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
• Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions
