Lone Wolf is actively seeking an innovative Director of Business Intelligence (BI) to join our expanding team.


In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving product vision, roadmap and strategy for our reporting capabilities; leveraging data from across the company to tell end-to-end data stories that provide critical decision making insights to our users. Additionally, you will drive the adoption and roadmap of BI services, AI and Predictive Analytics to guide our users to success. Finally, bringing all of this information together around user behavior within our platform will empower Lone Wolf to identify the areas of software improvement and build the business needs and use cases.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Gather requirements from both internal and external subject matter experts, interfacing with the product owner, to document business rules and uses cases for new and existing LW products
  • Collaborate to define segmentation of scope and review with Product Management to ensure design requirements and technical specification to ensure project scope is met
  • Create use cases and review test cases to ensure adequate test case coverage
  • Organize design sessions, contributing to the overall design of new and existing products
  • Interface directly with internal department leaders to provide exceptional implementation, training and support to clients
  • Assist with identifying and solving design flaws to increase usability
  • Provide content for the development of all product documentation (including marketing materials, Product specs, user guides, etc.)
  • Present on topics including product walk-throughs, for internal and external audiences
  • Manage tasks to meet the assigned project dates for their specific team
  • Own and manage the strategy for a product line through regular product, customer and market analysis
  • Take product ideas and own the process of getting them built and launched to market
  • Ensure your team effectively manages the development backlog of features and bugs for your respective products
  • Participate in the Agile process and ensure your team are experts for your product and its Users
  • Coach and mentor your team to on effective product planning functions (user story creation, development prioritization and project management)
  • Drive and own the product vision for reporting including standardization of templates, dashboards, data visualization and impact measurement frameworks
  • Own the measures used to define success of your product capabilities. Success measures must be defined at the inception and tracked throughout the product life cycle
  • Continuously build and develop best practices by monitoring industry trends & innovation opportunities


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • University degree or College Diploma
  • 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager/Director
  • Experience managing other product staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with multiple departments and subject matter experts
  • Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent follow-up skills required
  • A technical aptitude for understand technical concepts and simplifying them
  • Experience using a development task management system for backlog prioritization
  • Experience working closely with development in launching products to market
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of JIRA preferred
  • Knowledge of GIT Preferred
  • Understanding of SCRUM and how it interacts with the project life cycle preferred
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with remote teams preferred
  • Experience within real estate or real estate brokerages preferred
  • Occasional travel may be required (US and Canada)
