About the role

Lovepop is seeking an Illustrator and Graphic Designer to join our Licensed Design Team to help us continue to raise our awesome bar on amazing products. This position will create top-notch graphic design and illustrations for our licensed products (cards, bouquets, decor) with partners like Disney, Warner Brothers, NBC/Universal, and many more - that connect with consumers' occasion/seasonal needs. The mission will be to create efficiencies, improve timelines, and give undivided attention to this growing category.

• Attention to Detail:By thinking through illustration and graphic design from a 360 degree perspective on products.
• Trend Awareness: A passion for pop culture and design trends with the ability to translate trends for Lovepop products that connect with consumer’s seasonal needs and occasions. Working on a multitude of aesthetics/”looks” for different consumer segments while still maintaining the Lovepop Brand principals.
• Collaboration: You will be an effective and collaborative partner to your 3D Product Designer teammates, working closely with these designers who create 3D engineering for the physical product. 
• Originality: Displays original thinking and creativity by meeting challenges with thoughtfulness and offering smart solutions.

• Minimum 2+ years of graphic design and illustration experience for physical products.
• Expert In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. 
• Graphic Design, Illustration or related degree.
• Consumer products development experience.
• Fluent in producing mechanical print files and knowledge on various print production techniques and comfortable producing for different mediums.
• Experience managing projects from concept to final delivery with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Must have technical experience with laying out print-ready assets, creating graphics, and updating existing design files.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to details with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Comfortable working within a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
• A passion for design with exceptional skills in typography and layout.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
