About the role
As Manager of FP&A, your mission is to build, maintain, and drive achievement of the Lovepop financial plan aligned to our strategy, financial objectives, and enterprise value goals. You will partner with the business line and function owners to build integrated operating plans and maintain forecasts for projected outcomes. You will own communication of strategy, tactics, and results internally to the executive team, managers, and team at large; as well as externally to the board and investors. You'll partner with the accounting team to ensure our sales and budget reporting is clear, timely, and delivers actionable insights. You'll partner with our data team to ensure actionable, complete, and accurate data is at our team's fingertips and that we are building a data-driven culture. The role reports directly to the Co-founder, CFO/COO.
Accountabilities- Build and maintain financial plan and forecasts Own the long-range and annual financial plans including the planning and alignment processes with business and function owners; integrating the financial plan from KPI metrics to the financial line-items; and maintaining an eighteen month forecasted outlook. Enable and maintain a system allowing the organization to track daily, weekly, and monthly operating forecasts and stretch goals.
- Own strategic roadmap for the organization Own the document, created in partnership with BU and function owners, that outlines the quarterly, eighteen-month strategic roadmap of the organization. Document will include operating accountabilities, strategic initiatives, owned KPIs, and budget by quarter. Accountabilities, Activities, and KPIs will be allocated to the director level of the organization across US and VN. Own and drive the annual and quarterly planning calendar.
- Own communication of plan and results Maintain a consistent cadence and documentation reporting revenue, KPI, budget, and strategic initiative results to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
- 5+ years of work experience
- 3+ years of experience in Management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital
- Experience in FP&A preferred.
- Experience with start-ups and physical product companies is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including building and presenting business strategy and analysis.
- Strong financial analysis and excel modeling skills including P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet forecasting as well as process building and collaboration management.
- Incredible collaborator. Demonstrated ability to partner with peers and other stakeholders to build strategy, solve problems, and drive results.
- Independent owner and builder. Self-motivated to own their accountabilities.
$110,000 - $125,000 a year
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
